i am not sure how many of you are aware of this, but you could get free service. this has been around since 98 and you should have received this in the mail. if not, here it is. check with local dealership for more details.

-50k-75k miles you get a free emissions inspection and any repairs or replacements are done FOR FREE.

-75k - 150k miles you get another free emissions inspection, etc. BUT YOU ALSO GET NEW SPARK PLUGS, IGNITION WIRES, DISTRIBUTOR CAP AND ROTER, AND OIL CHANGE FOR FREE.

-Emissions warranty has been extended to 14 years

-IF YOU HAVE PAID FOR ANY OF THE ABOVE EMMISIONS PARTS/REPAIRS YOU CAN GET REIMBURSED

some other notes:

also the vehicle must have under 150,000 miles
call the local dealership, i dont have a honda so i am not sure on stipulations.
car must have a clean title
not sure if it only applies to vtec engines. just call the 1800 number and tell them your vin number. they will be able to tell you if it qualifies.
this transfers over if you are not the original owner.
