acura red keys?
hey i was wondering if there is a specific model newer acura that comes with a RED key. if there is any specific models ? if so could someone please let me kno thanks. i found one at work and dont know who it belongs to and i figure if they are model specific then i can narrow down who it may belong to. thanks

Plenty of Acuras came with red keys. Once they started doing the embedded chips they provided the red keys as "master keys."
I don't think thy were supposed to be used to start the car. If I remember correctly, they had all the transponder info in them and were used to program new keys in the event of lost keys. It's apparently nearly impossible to get new keys made if you've lost your red key without spending hundreds of dollars on new transponder stuff.

yeah i google searched it and it said like 1st gen rls. but apparantly there are more i guess i can call all the acura owners in my paperwork.
on a side note. i heard about your car at the tte car wash. my boy brian went gaga over you car.
brian: "dude i found the winner of the low-low award"(low-low = lowrider award)
