Default Engine Cleaner

I am looking for something to clean a block I have. Whats a good thing that is good to clean it with and make it look to close to hot tanked. Something to get all the dirt and grease off. Thanks.

Or, if you find that hard to believe, the foamy engine brite works well.

Brake parts cleaner Always does the job. or the Engine-bright gel stuff works wonders.

My dad and I use carburetor cleaner. We get 'em from Wal-Mart for around a dollar a can.

simple green is a good all around, but not sure if its exactly what youre lookin for

I use Simple Green, and Engine Brite. I think they works pretty well actually

What did yall use with engine brite. It didn't do what I was expecting. I sprayed it on and used a wire tire brush and cleaned it... that didnt help me much but then i got a red rag and they worked better but still not what expecting... HELP.

I used a red rag which should be better than paper towel... Im not happy.

Foamy engine bright, simple green, greese lightning, all work well. Go get some good chrome polish, even though its not chrome it still works good. Use a grill brush on the block but nothing thats polished b.c it will scratch. Try that
