Here's a few updates of the '79 coupe I bought from Keebler a few months ago for my dad. The garage isn't usually anywhere near this junky...


Replaced the quarter panel here in the garage. Old one was unsalvageable.


It'll go back together, somewhat.


Just a 5.0 under there, nothing special


289 heads, manley valves, comp cams springs, and titanium retainers ready to go in. Hal K-member. Ignore the cam box, that was for another car.


All finished up dying the interior black. Just have to put it back in. Dash and a few more pieces are in the background.

That was the original plan, but the quarter panel took a bit longer than originally anticipated. There's really not as much work left as there appears to be, but 3 weeks is a stretch.

 

Your mom must be freaking out. At least there is visible progress to make her happy. Gotta love parents that can put up with (and participate) in your hobby!
