Default New--used bike!!! Jacket info required as well.

Don't see a topic to post pics of your bike, so thought I would post here. Just picked up a 1986 Yamaha 600 Radian. Bike is in super shape. The fellow I bought it off babied it and put a lot of work into the bike. Handles very nice. Been a few yrs since I have had a bike, and most of my driving experience has been on dirt bikes. Nice to be back riding again. Was originally looking for a mid 80's Shadow but wasnt able to find one. For what the guy was selling this bike at, I wasn't expecting much at all. The list of new components on this bike is endless. He spent a fair amount of time on Ebay! lol

A few questions regarding jackets. I'm looking for something that obviously offers some protection, yet cool enought to wear in the summer time!! Can anyone recommend a good jacket? Something priced well would be super as well. Considering used, so if you have one to sell.................. I'm 5'9 220lbs. Prefer something black or black/silver, possibly dark blue as well.

Cheers
Scott

Looks Good! Never heard of a Yamaha Radian before. hmm... competition bike against the old Honda Sabre? Actually, the bike reminds me of the Yamaha Maxim we used to have. Sucks that we could never get it to run right though. Anyways.. glad to see another rider on the road!

Just get a leather jacket with some vents, I rode earlier (around 3) with Jacket, full face helmet, gloves, jeans, boots and it wasn't bad unless I was sitting at a light or something.

www.newenough.com go under closeouts and they have perforated leather Joe Rocket Blaster jackets for $179 (originally $300). They also have black and silver. They're one of the best online shops and have a good exchange policy if the jacket doesn't fit. They're who I've bought most of my stuff from and have some of the best customer service that there is
