Hmmm. My car does the same thing, but this was after I installed the aftermarket clutch (i think). Try changing out your tranny fluid to BG Synchro mesh. That might help you out. I know it's worked wonders for a lot of people. A lot of people also use Penzoil synchro fluid too. Mine felt better after swapping out the fluid. I'm using Red Line synchro fluid in mine. I'll be switching to BG next. Hope this helps.

ive read alot about this, its a common problem in all integras, auto or 5 speed, just let your car warm up in the morning, i do it now and no problem, takes about 2-3 minutes but well worth that crunchy noise. but if youre really worried about it, check your tranny fluid, and if you havent changed fluids out in a while which seems doubtful seeing as you have an expensive ass motor. get it done.

How many miles have you driven on that fluid? A lot of people say that once you upgrade clutch and flywheel, it's better to go with higher quality fluids because of the extra stress on the tranny.

How hard do you drive the car? I mean just a guess, but maybe the extra stress on the tranny, plus hard driving, could cause normal grade fluids to break down quicker.

LOL@VTEC. you honda guys are a trip. I know whatcha mean though

Well I'd still start with the fluid though. Like I said, mine felt better when I changed to redline. I'm not too rough on my car either.
