I have a 92 honda civic with a b16 swap and a Spoon ECU and the check engine light flashes three times, pauses, the flashes three times. This continues while i drive. Also if its been off for a while and go to start it up it doesn't crank at all but i have electricity. After about 10 minutes of trying to start it up it finally starts up. Any idea please let me know!

 

Do a search for engine codes and look up what a code 3 is. and as far as the starting thing, sounds like a starter.

 

code 3 is map sensor. check it out... it should be the sensor on top of the throttle body.

does it cranking or is it a clicking and cranking once in a while ??

also is it flashing the same speed its a map sensor code 3.
its not flashing 3 times then pausing and flashing 3 times faster is it ??

 

Are you talking about a code 3 or 33 here? I don't understand which code you are throwing...

 

3 short blinks is map sensor. Its something important so make sure you fix it...your car must run like shit if thats the code its throwing.

 

Its clicking then it will crank and turn over. As for the code its like Flaaaash,Flaaaash, Flash and it repeats.

 

Yeah its running like shit anyway because it needs a new distributor. Not sure what the map sensor is exactly.

 

sit right on top of the throttle body or where you hook you intake to y0 !
na for real though i think it says map sensor on it if i remember correcly. umm also thats you starter going out
