anyone goin?? or anyone that rides a sport bike atleast. and if you have gone in the past how was it?

 

fuck that....

i've been twice. unless you know someone who's camping there, and has a cooler full of beer.... it sucks.

one day va beach will do something like that "full on", but that half ass attempt at a "bike week" is just horrible.

just my .02 though...

 

thats what i was thinking. bike week here isnt any different then any other normal weekend at the beach. i just have some friends from dc that heard about the bike classic event and were thinkin about riding down here for it but i told them that all the bike events right now are pretty lame down here

 

the only thing that'd make me go would be the burnout contest, but after last year, they make you saty on the bike, and the bike has to stay in the same place..... no rolling burnouts, no chainsaws, no nothing... LAME!!

so this year i'll save the tire and stay home.

 

I volunteered there 2 years ago and we were selling beer, it was $4-5 for a 12 oz plastic cup. It was ridiculous, I remember some biker dude bought a $100 worth of tickets. It was lame overall unless you were over 30 and rode a harley or cruiser bike.

 

i wonder how long i could roll a 5mph wheelie thru the show grounds before i got arrested? at least then it's be interesting...lol
