Do you mean IAC? Idle Air Control Vavle? I dont see how this is a hp increase... If I'm correct it runs off vacuum, you could disconnect the vaccum.. question is will it throw a code :/? you could unplug the sensor too but that would def throw a code..

I still dont see how IAC can help performance.. its not changing air flow after cold idle ...

hehe, thats a good thing you dont see it...its not what you are thinking, I am not 100% i am talkin about the right valve...think so...its the one the coolant runs thru...and at first start up, when its cold...the valve rusn open...keeps car reved higher...then warms up...it closes...just need a way to close it..for good..because what i have done is...made it where the valve wont be heated up, to close...and i just need it to close...dont wanna explain to much...give away all the free hp mods....lets just say about 6months after I did my first engine this way...Hondata came up with a gasket to help the mod alot better.....and ti calls for 5% hp gain

unplug it & itll shut its self. You will also throw a CEL putting the ecu in LIMP mode resulting in less power

Unplugging the IACV will not cause the car to run in limp mode, atleast not my prelude, just a CEL..

I didn't bother with keeping it closed/open, I just bypassed the coolant lines and cleaned it out
