Default Acura Vigor alarm problem

I need some help. My girlfriend bought a 93 Acura Vigor About 3 months ago from a used car dealer (not acura). It did't come with any remoted for a alarm (and they did't have any for it, we asked) but it has one. When we unlocked the door from the inside the horn started honking and the car wont start. I called the acura dealership and they said that the vigor did not have a alarm as an option. I looked under the dash everywhere and i cant find anything, I did find the stock keyless door lock box so i disconected it and the horn was still honking, so rite now im kind of lost. Is there a Hidden place on a vigor that a alarm would be other than other the dash? The car is a sitting at Wendeys so i need to get it out of there soon. Thanks in advanced!

can you disconnect the horn and make it stop? maybe that can get you to be able to drive it home.

look harder my son, theres an alarm in there somewhere. oddly enough most aftermarket alarms dont honk the cars horn... so thats kinda weird. if you can find the box unplug it and the car will start normally. also if its an aftermarket alarm there will be a relay near the steering column/ignition switch. this is the ignitiion interrupt relay. simply cut one of the SMALL guage wires and all will resume to normal.. except for the honking horn of course.

as usual the dealership is a buncha fuckin idiots. show them this

odd that the vigor doesnt have an alarm, yet here is a honda TSB addressing just that. of course they call it a security system. ive never known an oem security system to kill the ignition however.

anti theft, alarm, security system... oh ****** please. your just nit picking now.

a tomato by any other name is still a fucking tomato.

dont all the above serve the one purpose of trying to prevent theft/loss of the car and or its contents?

you could just pull the backup fuse...

well i tried disconecting the battery and same thing, i have the fuse for the horn out so no more noise. However the starter will not do anything, i cant get it to crank or even make a noise. i do hear som clicking under the dash though.

yeah that link didnt do me any good.. just took me to an index asking for make and model. you can always try push starting the car to see if that works... ive read another forum that a guy had this very same issue. disconnect the pos batt cable and touch it to the ground cable for a few seconds {DONT do it the other way around} this will drain all the capacitors and tempory type memory and might reset the system.

good luck on disabling this thing, can you find a factory owners manual for htis car? that should have info on reseting the anti theft... usually some weird combination of turning the ignition on and off if a remote wasnt issued for that model.

Update, I dissconected the factory alarm, this stoped the horn, but it still wont start, i am looking for a wiring diagram so i can tell whick wire is what. Im guessing that there is a relay or something that is a starter killer. (i seen in a book at auto zone the 93 accords have a starter kill thing in it, but i did't know if the wires are the same, they dont have a vigor book). anyways is there something i choud be looking for? I can see where ther was at one point a aftermarket alarm or remote starter because there are wires that were cut and put back. Thanks for the help!
