Here some information regarding the Norfolk kickball league that I played in last year. It's tons of fun. The teams are co-ed and there is alot of socializing (beer) and competition during the games! Here's the flyer for more information...........




My team went to the Championship game last year and lost. Our team name is "Sotatly Tober"! Come join and have fun!

If you are of ages 18-20 you must sign a waiver to play.

 

haha my dads company did this shit last year. I am 19 and I will sign up I wanna play some good ole american kickball haha.

 

Sign me up!! I got a size 14 and can kick the living shit out of a ball. Cost?

 

Cost is $50 which includes your jersey, equipment for league (balls and cones) use of fields and usually the winning team gets free food or drink at the sponsoring bar afterwards.

it's been a long time since i played kickball but it would definately be worth checking out.

 

I will say this, it's harder than it sounds. The ball is much larger than the ball we all used in elementary school.

 

Just call the number on the flyer? Is there practice that starts anytime soon?

 

There will be a pre-season party at the sponsoring bar probably in the next couple of weeks. Contact Jennifer Norman at jennifer.norman@navy.mil, she is the league president for Norfolk and she can get you signed up. If you have other people who want to play you can form your own team. There must be at least 4 girls playing on the field at 1 time, leaving 6-7 guys on the field, for a total of at least 8 or 9 on the field and a max of 11 I believe.

 

You can join a team too though right? Don't think I would have enough people for a whole team.
