i heard from this guy today that you can put a Y8 head on a dohc zc, ive never heard of anyone doing it so im not sure if he was bullshitin me but im just wondering if its posible. also what other things can i do to my dohc zc, i already have i/h/e and the SI tranny. i was plannin on throwin a 75 shot on it but im kinda sketchy on that idea. thanx for any help

 

cams, high compression. you can you lots of stuff to a dohc zc

 

internals , lighten flywheel, after market pullys there is alot of stuff

 

are there any websites to order stuff for a ZC? and will the Y8 head work?

 

anything for an 89 integra, NO a single cam head will not workif you want to put a single vtec motor in I would like to trade you plus cash to you.

www.gude.com has a nice head package ads about 50 hp
www.dh-racing.com has anoter head package and if you look in the motor sectoin have a nice N/A motor for under 4k that will put down 180-200 WHP depending on tuning

 

Take the zc pistons and put them in a 1.6 sohc block... and there you go... thats the only benefit the zc dohc block has.

 

thats exactly what i was gonna do if i went with a songle cam motor

 

i say do jdm d15b (my motor) and take the domed pistons out of the ZC and swap them bitches.

then slap on a turbo or 2 and have some fun.!
