how much are tickets for like a 15% window tint?

 

i had 27% and i want to say mine was around $40

 

I had a ticket on my 97 Prelude that was $85 in Northern Virginia... but i had 3% light going through.

 

i think it depends on what city you are located/where you got the ticket. just call the courthouse and ask for the total of the ticket.

 

I am bumping this old thread to let you know how much my ticket is going to be for a 14% ticket . . . $91 bucks.



There was a thread in the NOVA area about a new law regarding tint, basically saying that 1st offense is a ticket and a warning, 2nd offense is another ticket and you have to show proof that you have removed the tint?? Please tell me that doesn't apply here in our area.

I have two station wagons tinted the same way, I am almost 40 freaking years old (I know, WTF am I doing on a board like THIS?! ) and I have not had a ticket in over 20 years (and that was for a tail light out - rookie cop couldn't have given me a warning, Nooooooooooooooo)

I hate to think of how many $91 contributions I am going to have to make to the City of Virginia Beach. I might as well throw in the towel and get it tinted legit.

 

damn, that sucks for you....i had 11% on my old car and my ticket was like $83.....but that was about 2 years ago......

 

i just payed my 4th $90 ticket in Va beach for window tint. the cops told me as long as i keep paying the tickets i can keep the tint..

 

i had a $111 fine for 4% tint... but i was in NewKent county

 

haha.....damn......4%.....niiiiice. i didn't like mine that dark because you can't really see shit at night, well, pretty much only when i was backing out of a spot somewhere......oh well
