Did anyone go skiing/snowboarding at wintergreen today?
I went up with some friends to break in my new board today and it was crazy. Fog set on the mountain and you couldnt see 10 feet in front of you, no joke.

ive always heard stories of fog setting on the mountains and shit but never seen it before, its crazy. 100 times worse then any fog ive seen around here.

it made snowboarding hard today lol, fukin took a warning pole thing to the knee, its now swollen and I can barely move it, not to mention the face plant that took place cuz of that pole lol.

it felt like that movie "the fog" lol

 

sounds like fun. i need to get out and do something myself.

 

I was at massanutten. on Sun -tues and on Tues the fog was really bad too. I was not able to see anything in front of me either. It was all slush on the mountain. I did like 2 face plants and my neck hurts. I cant go snowboarding for a while. under budget and school starts next week, and I work 2 jobs. So maybe I will try later

 

Im going to masanutten friday night, so hopefully the fog will clear

 

I might be there Saturday. Ive been on backpacking trips through those mountains that when really bad fog set it at night, you couldnt see 5 feet in front of you.
