swip swappin B16 and B18 parts??

will droppin an LS crank in my B16 give me the effect of stroking?

its not that easy. u cant just put that crank in there and call it a day.

An LS crank does have a longer stroke than a b16
but it is not a direct swap.

Because of the shortend block height of the b16, putting an LS crank in would give you a very poor rod/stroke ratio. Not that it can't be done, but its not the best choice you could make.

you'll need either custom rods or custom pistons...or both.
it has been attempted many times, but the longevity of this method of gaining displacement hasn't been decisively proven.
as mentioned above: the rod/stroke ratio becomes caca and the excessive lateral thrust from the longer stroke and shorter rods means the pistons will be more inclined to move sideways in the cylinders.

at high rpms, that's not a good thing.
