anyone know anyone that makes custom shirts?
I tried to get a place out there near Hollin's to do a screenprinted OR embroidered flag for me... and they wanted something outrageous either way... so I was like "Okay.. what about a t-shirt?" - - I think she quoted me something close to like $100 for a single custom shirt. She made it out to be ridiculously hard when I know in fact it's the exact opposite. It's cake.
Well, it's easy to do, but you have to figure it costs them the same to make a screen for one shirt or a thousand shirts. It's like when people come to me to get stuff printed. I always have people ask me to print like 5 posters. It's only a couple dollars more to get 500. Most of the price is in the setup.
we used to have t shirts made, they were like $7 each for quantities of around 150.
Kinko's can do shirts pretty cheap if you are only doing one of each design.

Maybe you could find a couple of people that would want one, and you could just get a bunch made for a decent price.. Charge like a certain price, and sell them as well. I want one, who else is game?

oh wait. your ideas sucked. :-p
but really though. go to wal-mart. they have that iron on stuff that you can put in your printer. design whatever you want it to say and print it on the iron on paper. or you could print a picture, whatever. then you can just iron it onto a t-shirt.
OR
wal-mart also has iron on letters. where you just arrange the letters on the shirt and iron them on. works great. i've made a few "custom" t-shirts that way.
