Electric Supercharger/Turbo!!!???
I was on ebay and came across an electric turbo kit. It seems kinda funny, and was wondering what you guy thought of it? Do you think something like that would give noticeable hp gains? Maybe on a D15?
The electric supercharger that was released is a joke. It is used practically the same as nitrous. It is user controlled by a switch and can only be used for approcamatly 20 seconds at a time.
A complete waste of install time & money.

It can't move enough air to make a discernable difference in power, except maybe in the extreme low end. To do so would require a motor that ran hot enough to melt steel.
It's a crock of shit. Have a nice day.
You could do it, but it would take a large diameter motor.. It can be slim and shallow, just large diameter. Torque is torque. It's just a motor after all, make it big enough and it will work. You'd need to consume more power than you made with it though most likely.
dont waste your money. I bought one and tried it out on my colt when i had the 1.5 ltr in it and it didnt do shit.... waste of 100 bucks. I learned from that dumbass mistake and you can too.... dont buy it
The Thomas Knight electric supercharger is the only one worth the time/money. All those eBay auctions are pure crap.
