Default Valve Breather Smoking

Alright...see if anyone knows what the deal is. The car is running fine, but there is a good deal of smoke coming out of the breather filter. As soon as you start the car and its cold it starts smoking and continues. I took the valve cover off and inspected it a little and everything looked to be fine. Could it be a valve seal? There is no knocking and there is no excess exhaust coming out the tail...Not sure what the hell is going on...

It could be blowby, but then the valve stem seals whould be shot and he would be loosing quite a bit of compression. Check the PCV valve it's a one way vapor valve but it should be internally filtered for larger particals. Probably needs replacement.
