Default What would you do?

Check it out, call me a ricer whatever... but i was reading Honda Tunings little article on budget boost, and it got me thinking. I had plans on doing this either way but the little step by step they have in there made it seem a little more easier. But anyways, as you can see in my thread in eye-candy, my bottom end is toasted. I had an a6 block with a y8 head. Supposedly had a CR of about 10.8:1. Doesn't suprise me that it blew, however, I want everyone's opinion on what to do now. I am buying a d16y7 motor to get the car running again. From what I have been told, the y7 bottom end is exactly the same as the y8 bottom end. Seeing that I already have the y8 head, still in perfect condition, should I...

Option A. Put in the y7 motor, leave it completely stock, and build a budget turbo kit and boost it with the stock 9.4:1 CR.

Option B. Mate the y7 bottom end with the y8 head, and leave it as is.

Option C. Put in the y7 motor, leave it stock, and get the y8 head rebuilt (port and polish, valve job, etc..), then mate the two together at a later time (This is the LONG term option)

Option D. Mate the y7 bottom end with the y8 head, and build a budget turbo kit and boost it with the 9.6:1 CR.

Option E. Put in the y7 motor and leave it stock until I can afford a real swap.

i would try and boost the y7 motor as is and then maybe later you can switch heads if you feel that you need to!

or you can sell the y8 head to help pay for the y7

BTW.. Option E is just up there more or less for people who need a reason to fuss and don't believe anything can be fast unless its powered by a B series. 99% chance that Option E WILL NOT be chosen.

Option A- roughly 600 dollars, depending on prices for the HMT

Option B- about 50 bucks, depending on how cheap I found a new headgasket

Option C- unlimited price cost really

Option D- roughly 600 dollars plus price for a new headgasket

Option E- aint gonna happen...
