Default Jet-Hot or HPC coatings...

has anybody ever used "HPC coatings" or "Jet-Hot" ?

i was thinking of sending my Header & Intake manifold to get them coated in the high luster ceramic coating... this would be purely for show

http://www.jethot.com/ this is the website to jet-hot

HPC and JetHot are both good, there are others though. SwainTech and ThermalTech also ceramic coat, and there are a bunch of smaller companies too..
Why are you getting this done for show? Why not get your parts polished or beadblasted if it's only about looks? It's kinda odd to get something ceramic coated just because it looks different. It's more of a performance mod, especially if you have a turbo setup. I like nice black ceramic, but go ahead with your "high luster" for show..

Jet-Hot has a ceramic coating that is almost like chrome, i have a Kamikaze header & it is steel... so thats my only option, they are painted for now

If you want to go for show, why not just get a better header made from stainless?

i love the header i have now,,
i dont like the purple discoloration with stainless, i used to have a greddy one-piece

main thing is wondering how the coating stand up,
every DC header i came across looked like the ceramic coating didnt hold up to well

the ceramic holds up fine if its done right but after a few years, it does tend to come off on anything close to the road like the bottom of long tube headers. You should be fine though since its a turbo header.

The Jet Hot and Swain coatings are a lot better quality than the stuff that comes stock on mass produced headers, so I don't think that will be too much of a problem.
