Default high idle....help on fixing it..

i know everyone has put this kind up but i want to know how to fix it...i had a d16 in my eg coupe and it idel high for about 5 min but know i got a ls and it idels high for a littler longer..if you know what this is pm me or post...thanx

if its just when you start up its only cuz the oil is thick, or you are using to heavy of a oil. try changing your oil to a thinner one.

WHAT?????? its most likely NOT your oil. if you used the same harness, it is most likely a problem with wiring considering your having the same problem with a different motor. you need to be a little more specific...do you have any CEL's? does it idle high whens its cold, or hot?

well his car 1st idled high in the cold, so we didnt think about it too much, but then it got warmer and it never really slowed down, i mean it would idle about 500 less but still take awhile to drop down,i mean i knoe that the wiring is wrong like u said above but wat would be wrong???.........let us know so we can solve this bs problem
