what about balanceing shafts
i currently have a fully disassembled h22 and was wondering how bad it would be to remove the gear on the end of it to free up parasitic drag from the timing belt......is this a bad idea????

DLB, you really need to do a solid run all the way down the track, I want more numbers out of your set-up.

DSM guys have been removing their front balance shafts for years. It does add a bit more vibration at idle, but it will rev more freely and you will not have to worry about the bs belt breaking. Not sure if the same goes true for Honda motors?
