Now, when we take 5,000-6,000 RPM launches on all 4 wheels with sticky tires... there is gonna be a major stress point at another location other than the sidewalls. Therefore, broken axles occur, broken t-cases, broken tranny's, broken rear diff's. Never seen a hond break an axle

You brought up Jackie's car, I proved you wrong. You brought up that it was high-mileage, and I corrected your wrong. Is there anything else you'd like to bring up? You told me to NAME TEH CARZ!!1, and I did. Did you think I didn't actually know anyone with a broken DSM? Are you kidding me?
Yeah this is a car forum FR3SHT0D3F...but you are asking questions that have been asked numerous times on other dsm boards. All I know is that if you are to lazy to search other boards for information about typical problems found in dsm's then you shouldn't even think about buying one. Good luck though...hope it goes good for you!
.. My Tbird didn't shatter clutches and axles 'cause it had stickier and larger tires? (Might I add, when we took it apart, it was the stock clutch from 1988)
Your a fugging moron you realize that? You know why awd breaks drivetrain pieces all the time? Becuase in your shitty t-bird you launch and get just a little bit of wheelspin which reduces stress cuz the power and stres is let out the tires in the spinning. however AWD hooks the shit up and has no wheelspin so all that stress and power hits the drivetrain. However there is something called "pre-loading" the drivetrain for awd which a lot of owners dont know to do and therefore the shatter the clutches.

One of the guys in this thread shattered 3rd gear. Blame that on AWD.
Shut the fuck up.
Edit: I'm honestly AMAZED at how butt-hurt you DSM kids get about Mitsubishi's reliability. For the record: I'm currently driving a car with a Mitsubishi drivetrain, and it's running just fine.

Second of all you are trying to compare a IRS vs. Solid Axle...
