Lol, honestly just price and availability. I still need to contact outfront motorsports to make sure once the 22 is in I can swap over to an SOHC ej25 with a turbo. Plus I dont want to kill my tranny first ride out. I wanna make sure everything else on the car can support the hp.

 

while that is fucking awesome, I want something with power in the same hp neighborhood but streetable. Dependable enough to be a semi-daily driver. 250hp range would be awesome to have as a semi-daily

 

Yeah I figured price had something to do with it. As far as availibility though, they can be found on Nasioc pretty often.

Not to get back to the spike or anything but I added the stock moulding underneath them. Not sure if i like it tho... maybe it will grow on me... mounted the running boards too but not before they beat my ass...

i dont think anyone has mentioned this, but i dont care much for the spikes...
