Agree. When you talk stats you better have a reference or your argument goes to shit, IMO. But, when you say shit like this: "The reason so many more of them crash, statistically, I believe is because .." Which is it? Statistics? Or your opinion?

Alot of bikes have that setup. It's "supposedly" a safety thing, from what I have been told, for situations like you ran out of gas, bike breaks down, etc, and you have to leave the bike on the side of a dark road.

Just what I was told. I think it's pretty dumb, and I'm sure it leaves alot of people stranded with dead batteries.

That's what i was thinking but we have an hazards light too hahah what the hell. Agreed with you.

it required in some countries, suzuki was just lazy and didnt remove it for the us bikes

Same here, my bike will be out of commission for 3-4 weeks for all the service and upgrades.

Can't find a crankcase cover? Shouldnt be too expensive?
