70 = 6000 rpms with stock sprockets (roughly)
70 = 6900 rpms with -1 +2 sprockets (roughly)
So.. cruising at 70, it sounds like the bike is screaming... LOL...
eh... not from the bikes i have riden... the R6 is about 1000 rpms over most other bikes... and i am now cruising 900 rpms higher than stock.

I have an 03, 04 and 05 R6 and an 06 R6s. All of which have the same motor and only revs to 16,000 rpms... not a proclaimed 17,500... which my tach is presumed correct since all of your postings are directed towards the 06 and up R6r.
Not to mention that NONE of what your trying to add has anything to do with the fact that my bike sounds like its screaming at 70 mph with the new sprockets.
So... when I say that I have ridden different 600's and the R6 is at a higher RPM than most others at cruising speeds... guess what... it is... yep...
And I dont have the model that your talking about. So.. now that we have established that my tachometer is RIGHT.
I will go back to saying... that on the performance level... I like the new sprockets... they are fun... but bike will lift effortlessly in second and can be clutched up in 3rd. As far as the change in interstate roll ons... from about 60 - 140... I picked up a small but steady pull that puts me about about 3 bikes over the stock sprockets.
Me an a friend tested it.. with his 636... did a couple pulls with the stock sprockets.. and we were side by side..
changed the sprockets and did it again... and I was out about 3 bikes.
Not sure If I am gonna keep them... I guess it will probably depend on if I get this 05 R1 next week or not.
