Cycle whore thread
perfectly happy with the stock sprockets on mine..
now when the weather warms up and the bitch quits idling again, I'm going to have to get a power commander, or figure something else out...

Maybe all the sensors in the airbox aren't hooked up... though I am not sure that would make a difference, but maybe worth a shot.
have you tried checking the filter.. maybe its dirty or clogged? Maybe not enough air is getting through.. and just the fact that its cold (more dense) is making it able to idle.. but when it warms up.. it chokes out. ... Just a thought.

I took the filter out and it was clean. I left a few screws out of the airbox so I could pull over and take the filter out quickly to see if an unrestricted airbox would work (just till I got home, and went to buy an aftermarket filter) and it never got quite hot enough after that, so I guess I"ll be waiting till Summer to see what it does again.
Remember I had this problem right after I put the exhaust on.. runs great in the cooler hours of the day, but during rush hour traffic at 430-5 (90+ degrees) it wouldn't idle for shit.

I'm happy with my stock sprockets also, but I need a new chain, and plan on doing the 520 so why not give myself a little more pickup? I don't do any top speed runs so I'm not worried about losing anything.
I believe they had the option for 3 down in the front, maybe just two, but I didn't want to go that far up front. But I understand what you're saying. I'm just going to give them a call.
