never ran a timer, most schools prohibit the use of student controled timers...........i'll be getting a remote mount timer soon.

 

I think he was asking what you run in the quarter.

 

opps.....my bad......i don't drag race. I have a buddy w/ an identically modded car except he has a less aggressive port that runs low 11's.......but the driver probably has alot to do w/ that. I'd probably run ...i dunno..........32.7 or so? hahah............if there was just a turn or two at the other end..i'd be ok

I'm new to the board today, my name is Nick. Spinning my tires in most of first and w/o my headers I ran a 14.59; as in my signature. That was on a slippery track on a 60 degree 85% humidity day. I'd say it realistically runs low 14's, and when I finish up the supercharger around February/March I'll be in the low 13's (of course that's after I install a Phantom Grip LSD ) I have 90% of my parts together now, and it's just time to start putting it all together, except I have to go home to NY for xmas break, so like I said, a few months and I'll be boosting on stock internals, at around 5 psi, should be good for about 280-300 at the crank. With all this 20 degree weather tho, this thing is mad fast! Traction in 2nd is a big problem in these temps.

Sounds good, how much does your car weigh? Just curious. I say go for the internal rebuild and pull some serious boost.

 

probe - very nice. It's not very often that you come across a fast ford probe. I'm not making fun of the car, just saying that they are supposedly difficult to make power with, due to the "flapper-door" style MAF.

I'd like to check out your car sometime, it sounds impressive.

speaking of probes...I hear there are two insanely fast mx6 turbos lurking around the blacksburg area. A few years back when I went there, a guy there with a turbo supra got eaten alive by one of them on the interstate. said it made 390 to the wheels.
