oh, gotcha. You made it sound like a hybrid. So it's just a loud recirc. Some of that depends on your intake piping too, because that can really amplify or muffle the volume depending on the piping material, etc.

i concur.....WRC definitely takes a good product, beats the hell out of it, and revamps what broke or didnt perform well enough, to have the end result of that same product either becoming GREAT, or shunned upon, resulting in its impending doom...

i know turbosmart has one and i think forge motorsports does too..

but either way NO the ngr type s is a bov that can be recirculated. like the greddy type s, type rs, hks ssqv, etc. cept all of those have a muted sound when recirculated. not the ngr type s.

heres a pic of how i have the hoses on mine.

soft piping FTL!! seriously, get hardpiping with a flange welded on.....so how much are these NGR's??? i might have to get one, and out it to some hellacious tests...

haha mines a custom setup, im fine w/the hoses and not hard pipes. it doenst affect anything except itd be louder with hard pipes.

and its $130. email them at ngrperformance@gmail.com

i guess....but hard pipes would just give better flow, (plus they doesnt flex or dry rot--personal experience )

better flow? hows that? and yeah it flexes some, but not much. its not like i have super long hoses.. and if they dry rot ill replace them.. lol

That's a bit of a stretch. Except for the dry rot part.

Silicone works great, lasts forever, love it. Easy and cheap. There isn't anything wrong with flexible hoses for a BOV, and airflow is much more affected by internal area than by internal surface finish. Besides, in this application the duration of the flow is so short that you can't even remotely worry about the same things that affect steady state flow, like boundary layer problems, etc. Hard pipes look more finished and professional, but that's pretty much it.

Why would flexible hoses matter? Is someone going to jump in and argue that the internal volume change of a short, small diameter piece of tubing is going to somehow affect turbo system performance? I could probably show that every silicone coupler in the main piping system has more compliance than that one piece of tubing, and then there's the argument of why none of that actually affects performance...

mr25psi is an unknown quantity at this point

Lemme know how that works out, greddy type s has been on most of my cars over the years. They are getting harder to find. It never leaked on me but i never ran more than 22psi on my type s. and while it may be rice to pick a bov based on sound type s sounds the best by far IMO
