any power predictions?
According to the speed factor which is probably where you bought your turbo, it actually has a 55mm compressor wheel, hence the 55 at the end of the name. This is off their website, i just copied and pasted........
GT3251M- The latest offering for the Mitsu community by PTE. This turbo features a GT32 turbine assembly and a 51mm compressor wheel. We have seen full spool on this turbo at 3600 and holding all the way to redline. We dyno'd this turbo to 300awhp and will get it back on the dyno with a better intercooler and more aggressive tuning.
GT3255M- This turbo features the same GT32 turbine as the GT3251 but has the larger 55mm compressor wheel. Spool on this turbo is expected around 4000-4200. We have yet to Dyno this turbo but should be doing so within the latter weeks of January.

actually, it does in fact have the 76mm compressor wheel, i dont like the specs on the pte site or the speed factor site (not correct). I did get it from martin (a personal friend of mine), i am very happy with it, i still have some fine tuning to do, but the power output is substantial over the b16g.
I dont think you realize how big a 76mm compressor wheel is. As a comparison a T-76 turbo has guess what, a 76mm compressor wheel. A turbo that size you wouldnt get full boost til almost 6k rpms. On a side note, if you ever get dynoed post up some numbers, im trying to figure out what turbo i want to go with next.
you're right 76 is huge. Those are the specs that i have, but i'll have to pull the comp cover off and try to measure for myself sometime. I actually had my car on the dyno last week, but had several problems (o2 sensor went bad, doesnt matter at WOT but still, my 3" intake pipe is on backorder, at 20psi i kept blowing intercooler pipes, i have a nasty rich spot at 4500rpm's that no one can lean out with just my afc, oh, and I still have a 2.5"DP) so there are a lot of things that i need to deal with before i can get any real numbers. Even with all of these problems, the car made 260awhp at 4k just before it went rich and dumped timing down to 5 degrees. I was pretty happy with that much power so soon, but i still have some work to do.
