we have one here at our office...the 2006 model passion model with the 700cc turbo 3cyl.(brought in from the netherlands)..the 2008's have a mitsubishi 1.0 litre motor....junk.....we are also a dealer for the 08 models and i will stay with my 06 model(i brought it to hin dulles but didn't park it inside).......and the tank is 8.0 gallons with a cruise range of 525-565 per tank...we avg 54-66 mpg in ours.......damn fun to drive.....and more space than you would think...our makes 69hp (flywheel)...and the governor comes on at 85mph..but i think it has more in it....

^ google search in the video section for smart car crash test....your very very wrong.....they are designed and built by mercedes benz...and were crash tested into an s class benz.......the tridon is safer than a full blown roll cage....because it is designed to absorb the damage
