just went saturday in my stock suspension 88 yj with 31's. had a blast. you will def need 4wd unless you go around everything and just tag along. lots of mudholes and the rivers are all rock bottomed, had to get pulled off by someone.
i recommend this trip to everyone. yes you can take a fullsize and if your careful you won't have any problems. i had fun and didn't get a single scratch (exhaust does rattle)
takes approx 4 hours from va beach. 64w to 81 towards harrisonburg then get off at the 33 to gwnf.
im definately going back! sure wish it was closer.
