am i the only evo x?

mike, whats the deal with a rain date? Id rather post pone then drive out there only to have the track shut down after a hour or so. If it even sprinkles thE track will be worthless and we would have to wait for it to dry. Shit would suck.

I dont think that we would drive all the way out there. And we rented the track.. exactly how much are you wanting to beat on your car. If it took a minute to run each car... that is 60 runs in an hour. That means that we should get 2 or 3 runs per hour. In 3 or 4 hours you can get 12 or more runs in. That is putting your car through alot. I am pretty sure that they said we have it from 9am to 4pm. Which is 7 hours. You wanting to run your car more than 20 times down the track. Eventually, beating on your car back to back like that will take its toll. so if it sprinkles for an hour and dries for an hour. I still think that you will get in plenty of runs down the track. And you can always stay longer if you want.

Undisclosed information...

I'm going in to Kienan's to check the tune before the track... just to error on the side of caution. Not to mention the C16 I tuned on was 6 months old and sitting in the garage. 15 degrees cooler too.

I sure as hell hope it doesn't rain.

good news - slicks came in

bad news - car broke down. Im sitting in my car right now waiting for AAA. Also, the car is smoking a little after I get on it.

The bolts that hold the clutch slave cylinder popped out. They were barely in, the threads stripped somehow.

We will make the call THURSDAY .... we have to give them a days notice so they can schedule the rescue crew.

So you will know Thursday, as in if its raining here thursday and there .... then we will postpone it till the next available date they have (on a friday)
