Doesn't matter, take pride in your car and treat it with respect. Have you ever seen what Salt and chemicals from the road do to an engine bay?!

you really can't do anything about it, mazdas all rust off... I give it another few years before the floorboard falls off.

I guess it's just me...

But I am anal about NoVA Road Treatment chemicals on my underbody and engine bay..

yeh i should really clean the engine bay... bottom is a lost cause. They don't make cars like they used to. All the exhaust bolts were seized from rust and had to be cut off.

yea, see this is why I coat everything on the underbody with Undercoating Spray... Usually have the dealer do it or a custom shop.
