Thats a 2 page article on what you just posted and why its wrong. Basically it makes false assumptions and uses fuzzy math. Read the article it will clear things up for you.

Default But what about this?

Therefore, to completely avoid buying gasoline made from Arab oil, a diligent consumer must refuel only at Sinclair, Sunoco and Hess service stations. Now, I don't know how readily available these brands are in your part of the country, but where I live I'd have to use up several tanks of "terrorism supporting" fuel just to find one of those stations. And that seems just a wee bit counterproductive.

I and lots others (Miller mart is Hess) have these station on every corner........

Edit: this is not an argument just a debate on whats true and what we can do to help ourselves..........

Who wants to tell the people of Hampton Roads they need to park their cars and walk from Virginia Beach to Hampton or Newport News during their daily commute? I dont think we should be invading anyone *right now*..the US economy is still recovering from 9/11 and a general recession, this is about the worse thing we could do. Its a good thing local police are handing out extra tickets, we wouldnt want people to spend that money on food or anything.

These might help if any of you are deciding to go through with this.
from sunocoinc.com
To locate the nearest Sunoco station, call:
1-800-SUNOCO-1 (1-800-786-6261)
Finally if you're traveling and need gas (Sinclair has no stations in VA)

That's actually quite the opposite. One of the sure fire ways to end a depression / recession ... go to war (and win of course). That's what history shows.
