They charge $68 per hour. And each car is different as to how long it takes (2 hours to 6 hours). The less the car is stock at 50/50 the longer it takes to adjust. At the beginner level I don't think it is worth the cost.

I definately second that. The only thing you really need to do following suspension replacement is get an alignment. As I am sure you have noticed, the car feels completely different. You will probably have to learn how to drive your car all over again (in a racing sense of course ).

Since I replaced my suspension I am still not as comfortable in my car at the auto-x as I was on the stock suspension (but I am getting there fast !!!).

I'm on shortened koni yelllows in the front and OTS yellows in the back. The 450f/500r is not horrible at all on the street, but between them and the azenis, the car is almost undrivable in the rain.
I want the corner weighting done first, because changeing ride height even a little bit will mess up the toe. I can't see it takeing much longer then an hour or two to get corner weighting done, the ITR is pretty close as it is...
as far as being worth the cost....why else whould I have got coilovers? You can't just go lifting and olwering the car all the time because it throws the toe angles all over the place.. IMO Corner weighting is just like alignment, it is a necessary part of suspension setup, and you can throw all the parts on your car you want, but if they are not setup properly, you are probibly better off staying stock.

George at Eurosport (oceanfront VB) and Mike at Sports and Imports (ches) are the only shops I know that can cornerweight. I don't think Mike has his alignment mach. working right now, so try Eurosport. They mostly tool on P-cars, but they will slum it every now and again.

I had a bad experiance with Eurosport tyring to get my car corner balanced. They left me waiting and finally cam clean that they did not even have the scales. They borrow them from a race shop. I was not pleased and they promised me a discount next time. I have not been back.

you should have put the stiifer springs in the front which would explain the diving, bottoming and squirrelyness. you are apparently getting too much uncontrolled weight shift to the front causing your car to lose grip in the rear. also, with that drastic of an increase in stiffness you should get yourself a stiffer rear swaybar. in my AE92 i have 5.8kg in the front a 4.4kg in the rear with a modified rear sway bar and I've never bottomed and she'll turn in on a rail. If you look, most race setups are stiffer in the front because of that big heavy thing up there. haha. give it a shot.

i'm not exactly sure what you drive there, but for at least FWD, cars are usually setup stiffer in the rear, to get the car to rotate. rotation is a welcomed thing.

Default Is There A Dyno At your Dyno Shop?

Dear Jerry/CosmosM3,
Oddly enough, we do have a dyno at The Dyno Shop. It's a Mustang MD-250 eddy current dyno with a MD-7000 diagnostic computer software package. Read the April Car Craft Magazine article about this type of dyno, as well as looking at the Westech Performance web site www.westechperformance.com . As the earlier post said, we are located at 4810 Build America Parkway, in Hampton. This facility is in an industrial park located between Mercury and Cunningham just West of the 64. Use your computer to get a Yahoo map of the area. Again, the phone number is 757-825-6647. Dyno rates are: $100/Hr, 2 H/P pulls for $50, 3 Drag Runs $50 and 3 drag/2 pulls for $75...For Non-ND2RA members. Members get 50% off those rates and the weighing is free. They're open Tues. and Thurs. evenings for your convenience as well as all day Sat. We had very nice signs made to direct you, but someone stole them during our open house two weeks ago.

ok, i got a question about the pricing for the dyno. is it $100/hour OR $50 for 2 hp runs.

Reason i'm asking is b/c after i get my vtec motor in, i want to get two torque graphs, one w/ no vtec, and one w/ vtec all the time, to find out where to make the vtec crossover w/ the v-afc.
