resturant business isnt bad to get into...i started as a server, made about 2100 in a week and a half and paid off the credit cards and the money keeps coming. but since some shifts could be slow, i started working in the kitchen at 8...might not be much but it adds up nicely and gives you guarenteed $$ on slow days instead of relying on tips. Did retail sales for a while, but got sick of it...but look around there's plenty of websites that list jobs or just go to the newspaper classifieds where there's the section of "help wanted"...sometimes theres a few good finds...good luck

what do you consider real good money? not trying to knock prep guys at the dealerships, by any means, but I wouldn't say they make "real good money"

I know how it typically works. I've known people in the past that did prep at car dealerships and I'm actually involved with sales at a large local dealership now as well. $2000/mo, to me, is not "real good money" though.. ya know? It's nothing to cry about, and it beats the hell out of $8/hour or something relatively low.. but still, nothing to write home about IMHO. Good luck with that though if that's something you pursue. Bust your ass if you want dollars.

if you are at a job for more than 5 years... take another look at where you are right now.
