but honestly, why would you swap out a b16 for a boosted sohc? I Despise D Series.

Okay I have had both and would say that sohc make really good torque numbers but are limited in the head cause of flow. Small ass valves. Dohc can make good power on low boost just 6-9 psi. probably in the mid 200. Hey Arnell never said he raced an EVO. Also many people don't have an JDM ITR engine in there car either.

if i were to go the civic route, I would go d16 + boost.. longblocks are $400 if you blow it, and they can hold 10 psi reliably for a daily driver... besides, with the ability of 200-250 whp, thats plenty for a 2300 or less car...

I wouldnt really go above 10 psi....
for just daily driver get an EBC(electronic boost controller), or one you can adjust inside... that way you can change it on the fly.. id run 6-7 psi daily and 10 psi if i needed it..
it will die sooner than normal.. as with any other NT engine that has been turbocharged..
