1998 SVT Contour w/ 3L
Nautilusperformance.com makes everything u want for this car including a turbo kit! The tranny is the mtx5. Everything is svt except the deads/block are 3L. This thing is a blast. Once the IMRCs open its a white knuckle ride for sure. If it was a hybrid 3L(3l block with svt heads) compression would be around 11.6:1 but i went with a 3L block/heads for the 10:1 compression so it can be boosted. Lol it really dosent matter because youll never keep enough traction. These cars are known for no traction. Unless u spend the big $$$$ on custom HARDCORE axles to handle the traction with slicks. The trannys are pretty stout with a new diff/ shift forks. Then theyre almost indesructable. just look at the videos on nautilus site. Theyre killer.
Also on the Zetec contours they should be supercharged for better low end. But personally turbo tours have almost no lag and make "free" power and arent harsh on the motor like the superchargers. But superchargers sound way cooler and menacing at WOT.
