i would rep you if i could because i was going to ask the same question with the same reaction

 

To each their own dude, but for "looks" you're gonna loose some "bling" by not having a "real" stretched swing arm on it. Just my opinion obviously, but swingarm extensions look cheap next to a real extended swing arm...I know the price difference is huge in most cases though, soo...

 

i had a machine shop in neport news do my arm on the busa...8 inches..he cut it and machined the extensions and welded all back together...

looked stock as hell and even did the brake arm for 450...that was about 5 years ago though...

corner of briarfield and jefferson...there is a machine chop in the back

 

yeah i know extensions look cheap. but i would easily pay someone 500 to machine my stock one. anyone know anybody. im in the charlottesville area

 

call machine shops in charlottesville...tell them what you want done

its only aluminum...they should have the capabilities to do it..if not they need to close
