some damage from isabel in poquoson

My Stepdad's $400k house on chesapeake ave was flooded 2ft with 3ft waves coming in the living room. Big screen TV, stereo, new furnature, etc all screwed.

i have fam that lives on church st....thier house is most likely going to be condemned - the floors are completely buckled and everything on the first floor is pretty much gone/ruined. All appliances are destroyed as well. The foundation is cracking and sinking as we speak and the trees in the yard are half uprooted and half sinking and expected to fall on the house - they cant really stop them

i live right on the water and we had around 3 foot of water on all sides of our house...luckily none came into the house but we have 5 totalled cars (including my truck i just finished paying off), garage flooded, and 5 sheds...tons of damage to everything...but no trees came through the house so we're lucky on that part...

what street do you live on? that sucks all your shit got fucked up, is your insurance going to cover all of the vehicles and stuff? good luck man

i live down close to NASA side of Poq. and insurance is gonna cover the cars and all but everything else isn't...but its not too much actual damage besides clean up and all that...

well thats good, i dont know if you've thought about this or not but i heard a lot of people were going to buy back the cars from their insurance company for real cheap, fix them and resell them
