Need a shop for head work...recommendations?

Hm, Thanks for the info.

the head is in a shop now getting shaved and a valve job. But I may have a spare head built up some in the future so Ill keep this.

What shop did you end up using? How would you rate their work and prices?

My head will be off soon and I need to have it looked at as I've overheated a few times in the past few months.

I took it Davis Machine shop off Hull st. They shaved the head, a valve job and reassembled it for $175. Had it back on a tuesday, dropped it off the friday before.

Did a good job to me.
