Maybe, I just got mine not too long ago. Still getting a feel for it. But hey it'd be nice to see how well I do. Mine is an M6 Hatch.

 

You're forgetting one is a 1,000lbs lighter common domestic tin can bolted together by numbnuts in Michigan; while the other is a proper 4 door luxury preformance saloon created by the best manufacturer in automotives today.

Ok if you read the full post (including links) you would see that the M5 owner has made claim to having much done to the M5. So it kinda defeats your original argument. Not too mention that the "domestic tin can" is one of the most respected sports cars around. Especially considering it runs with all the highend exotics for alot less cash MSRP.
