redline/fuel cutoff of new engine?

is 2004 the '2nd gen' of S2k???

and yes a pic of the new s2k would answer a lot of questions
i believe its a new 2.2 liter engine with i-VTEC. redline is lower on the new engine, but it has a much more "usable" power band.
This is not a new gen, just a few cosmetic changes. Same chassis as previous years. you probably won't see a pic until right before its at the dealer.

So what your saying is, The S2000 still blows ass off the line and they even put a motor with more displacement in it? You guys should be ashamed of Honda...... .......Just kiddin.......

So the SI is still gonna be a piece of shit though right? (Not joking) ........Why in the world wont they put a good motor in that car? Its not the prettiest but the chassis seems solid.......Glad to see The civic will look different, they were starting to look like cars old ppl would drive.....lol .........

Where are you at my girl wants to look at a pilot........(the SUV guy)

shinobi,

the pilots all have 3.5 v6 240 horses, space is great, none of them come with a sunroof. im at checkered flag honda off va beach blvd in norfolk. just beyond newtown rd. at the moment i have NO pilots.

the s2000 with NOT be IVTEC. Honda still has not quoted anything about the redline, lets pray they find a way to keep it at 9k. pics can be found at VTEC.NET and it will not be a 2nd gen. just a redesigned first gen. anything else?

Matt, here's the deal. If it really is just a redesign which means all of the aftermarket stuff I already have on the car (especially the rims) will fit, and the redline stays at 9k then I will without a doubt order one from you. If the redline drops or the offset for the wheels changes I will probably not be getting one.

I can almost promise you it won't be a K series. I'm sure it will be an F22C. The motor is easily stroked but that means the redline lowers a little. J's has had a stroker kit for a while now. It performs fine but you lose a thousand RPMs.

Matt, I'll have to take one for a drive if the redline lowers at all....if not I'll buy one without a test drive first.
