I think Kevin was just saying he knows what to do whith that big round circle thing sticking out of the dashboard. Supposedly he can turn corners and stuff.

Last time I went, got black flagged for a conversation. One corner worker gave Nic the blue flag to pass on the hairpin, then to me just before the S-turns. Then the other corner worker gave Nic the blue at the end of the S-turns. Yeah, 3 passes on the same lap... lap after lap.

Nic put me into a wall at full speed through the S-turns and I saw that barrier wall come up (insert Mo-flashback here). Didn't get stuck, but I got that nasty "no bumping" card. Sure.

Jon, don't the corner workers talk to each other on the headsets?!? I've seen better corrdination during epileptic seizures.

LOL, they're supposed to, but most of 'em are 16 years old working for minimum wage so... it depends when you go, really. During enduros we get the older/better flaggers who are constantly on the radio with race control at the timing/scoring computer so that kind of stuff doesn't happen. During regular races anytime... who knows???
