LOL, its like those pictures: When you see it you shit bricks.

Everyone has pretty much covered it. Read everything you can in the FAQs on 7club. Everyone is very helpful on 7club but newbie posts normally are firing squads.

However, the key point you need to understand before buying the FD. Make sure you do a compression check. Also, check and see if the recalls were done to the car as well since it is a 93.

i've owned 3 of these, and regardless of the rebuilt title, they were all money pits.....so i hope you got some extra money handy, and parts are not cheap. they are notorious for oil leaks, ecu problems, and electrical problems. read up on them and do your homework, the key is to be happy in the end and some cars are worth going in debt for, most are not....

Well ended up going a different route, got an LSJuan Formula instead, had been looking for one for a while and came accross it. So that will be my new toy for a while.

just dont get fucked with it dude, like everyone else said get on rx7 club, post this same thread in the 3rd gen specific section and see what you get, everybody is pretty serious and will give you straight up information and not flame you or anything, also if your considering that ls swap it might be a good idea just cause its a cheaper motor to get work done on cause its domestic but it loses that sweet rotary sound and you get the glug of the muscles :\ the kits to do the conversion can be found here grannyspeedshop.com i was thinkin about doin it to my convertible til i found the turbo II and the kit for the fc was only $1182 with ac and power steering so its cheaper than like a monster miata or anything, if you know how to do the labor, plus theres more than one motor you can throw in there other than the ls, they have em all on that site
