you could of just asked for a recomendation in your other thread instead of whoring up the NOVA section.
Did you check the dates when each thread was posted? I'm dumb it down for you since you are not able to check yourself. I asked for a recommendation (Notice I spelled recommendation correctly) which is this thread, on 02-08-2008 at 10:48 PM. I posted the "other thread" on 02-14-2008 at 03:10 PM. Since you are unable to read time/date info, that is almost a week apart.

They did do something wrong! Reread my letter (I know it might be hard for you to understand it, with all the big words I used) I agreed to an hourly rate. It took three hours, yet he charged me for four. If it took 6 hours, he would have charged and I would have happily paid for 6 hours! It was custom work, not a book price. He never said if it takes less time I am still charging you for four hours. He said this is my hourly rate. He was very clear that if it took longer, I would be paying for that extra time.
I failed to mention that I had an 8:30 appt to get the work done and the car was not pulled in till 10:00. So the fact that he overcharged me for an hour on top of keeping me waiting for an hour and a half was what really pissed me off. Time is money, and he had no issue wasting mine, plus on top of over charging me.
Why is it acceptable for the auto industry to do this, but no others? If I did this to any of my clients I would be out of business in no time. I charge the time it takes to do the job, OR a fixed price. Why is acceptable for the auto industry to play games?
If you guys think it’s ok to be ripped off an hour that is fine with me, but I don’t.
