use a multimeter and check the resistance between your ground( all your engine grounds) and power wire. If it spikes...that means there is a short somewhere in the system. uve most likely friend the MAIN fuse.

btw..did u do the swap with ur battery still connected? lol

becareful it doenst blow the multimeter as well.
