I seen the aftermath of the wreck and a friend of mine was 2-3 cars behind when it happened. I also spoke with the guy that witnessed the accident first hand and had to give a police report. A gentleman, on what I believe was a dark colored Hayabusa, was driving well over the posted speed and weaving in and out of traffic and lane splitting (possibly running from cops, I was told there were two units driving down Oyster Point at high speed and before the wreck that were the first to respond). The guy bounce off one car while making a lane change, wobbled, gained control, but bounced into another car, and when he wobbled again he swerved in front of a white truck and was hit. The bike then kicked around and he was high sided and thrown into a tree, and pronounced dead at the scene. No word on exact made/model of the bike or who it was.

 

Wow, I just read in the Daily Press report that no other vehicles were involved, yet I seen the white truck sitting on the side of the road with a smashed of right front. It's shameful how things get twisted, even though from what I understand it was the guys own fault.
