pacing isnt illegal....thats how i got pulled over. even my lawyer told me i couldnt fight that. the cop messed up on my ticket three times as to what nationality i was. first he put b-black, then h-hispanic, then, a-asian. i asked the lawyer if i could fight against that she said no because the vehicle license and all matches up. maybe if he messes up your social security or license plate number then u can.

 

the one and olnly time I got paced the cop told me he was behind me for a mile then he pulled me I think they have a certain distance they have to go before they can pull you

 

MISS THE FIRST COURT DATE, then reschedule, its the law, you can miss the first one and you will be able to make it up. go to the 2nd court date and 9 times out of 10 the cop wont be there. if the cops not there, you like automatically win because he cant defend his story. it works

don't jus straight up miss the court date... ask for it to be continued... like call the clerks office and ask for the date to be continued... give some bullshit reason like summer school or sumthin... and don't always anticipate the cop not showin up... as i figured the officer that pulled me wouldn't show, cuz he left after he was in like 5 cases... but came back... i suggest goin to driver school now, so to avoid it later... this way you can go in on your court date and already have he the certifcate so the judge won't be able to say shit... you're gonna hafta go either way... plus it looks better if you go on your own... sorta like YOU took the initiative ya know? good luck dude...

 

the cop not showing up is not a def guarantee the judge will drop the charges...ask pat (91PGT somthign or other LOL). You can go to driving school on ur own every 36 mos and have it count for your dmv record. if you go b4 the judge orders you too, its + points on ur record. if u wait till the court orders you to, its the smae class but no good points on ur record. dont jsut not show up without calling the clerks ofc. thats a good way to be held in contempt and to be charged with failure to appear, both of which tend to = jail time. nic, you are right they have to follow you for a certain amt of time while you maintain your speed. For example if you are goin only like 3 over and u sneeze and ur foot hits the gas and you are then going 10 over, but u slow down after a second he cant pull you, at least from what i was told.

 

correct ive been to court 4 times the cop has come twice, and nothing ever got dropped when they didnt show up.
